Tanmayo, a sensitive musician of Scottish origin, was part of Snatam Kaur 's band on the 2009 Germany tour. She plays keyboards and violin masterfully and enchants even more with her beautiful voice, which immediately goes to the heart. At Snatam Kaur's concerts she always played one of the songs from this album and always received enthusiastic applause.
Their debut album Dust at your Feet gently opens a window to a space where the soul can yearn for the divine. Her wonderful voice is wrapped in a rich tapestry of sound, the silken threads of which are masterfully woven through her own brilliant violin playing, as well as instruments such as sarod, bamboo flute and well-used keyboards.
Tanmayo draws on the rich wealth of experience of her Scottish roots as well as on the many years in which she studied in India. She interweaves her own poetry with mantra chants from the rich pool of different spiritual paths.

In the first track of this album: Through the Darkness, she has English lyrics playing around the mantra Guru Brahma Guru Vishnu , with poignant vocals and a light, dancing violin floating above the music throughout the track.

Another highlight of this album, which is actually full of highlights, is the stimulating version of the mantra Aad Guray Nameh , which found new popularity thanks to Snatam Kaur and Deva Premal. Tanmayo reinterprets this popular protection mantra in a completely new and uninhibited way with a driving bass rhythm, dancing beats and instruments that flow around the whole thing like there's no tomorrow.
She is accompanied by the equally talented and brilliant tabla player, singer and multi-instrumentalist Manish Vyas , who is also part of Snatam Kaur's band as a tabla player and contributes his skills on this album.

When you listen to this album, you embark on a journey through the darkness to the light, and the path is illuminated by Tanmayo's beautiful music.
