Teaching Kundalini Yoga gives an experience. The teacher learns a lot about himself and his own ego because while teaching the mind has to become meditative and neutral for it to work. When you teach Kundalini Yoga, there is no ego. When the ego is there, you don't teach. The intuitive mind cannot be mixed with the ego. They only exist at different times.

This experience leads to liberation from the inner oppression of the ego. Normally it is not possible to see beyond one's own horizon. The limited consciousness limits the field of vision. This is comparable to the Munchausen metaphor: nobody can pull himself out of the swamp by his own bootstraps.

It's your own hand that grabs your hair. It is one's own mind that processes the energy pattern that allows the yoga student to relax. And yet an experience is made that would not be possible under the normal conditions of everyday life. A lasting experience that can be repeated again and again.
