The relationship between conventional medicine and awareness techniques such as (among others) Kundalini Yoga should not be understood as a contradiction but as a complement. Yoga is a preventive method that primarily serves to maintain health in advance and in the long term. Even after an infection has broken out, yoga can still be helpful in relieving symptoms, promoting mild disease progression and preventing the immune system from overreacting.
Conventional medicine intervenes when things get serious. It is an emergency method that uses relatively brute force to try to avert the disease or, in some cases, prevent death. Here it is powerful and useful. The two areas should not be mixed up or played off against each other, but complement each other.

Kundalini Yoga is an effective method to strengthen and balance the immune system. There are numerous series of exercises that support the immune system manually, energetically and on the body's information level.
