After the trio Mardana lived out musically lavishly on their previous album I Have Found In Me... and realized many creative ideas, the three musicians Satkaram Kaur, Gurusurya and Gurbasant Singh let it be calmer, more meditative and deliberately introspective. And unlike the previous album, most of the compositions here come from Satkaram Kaur.

From the very beginning, Love is in Silence was conceived as a perfect musical tool for meditation, yoga practice and yoga lessons: straight forward, meditative and complex, catchy, reduced and focusing.

However, it wouldn't be a Mardana album if the wonderful melodies typical of Mardana, the gentle and sometimes rousing rhythms, and above all the heart-stressed singing weren't found again. Without long intros and outros, without solos and many extras, this unique strength of Mardana comes to the fore on Love is in Silence: the quiet tones "between the tones", the subtle arrangements and the sensitively set instruments.

The often polyphonic singing hovers over this fine musical robe, which, however, always retains an important leadership and inner peace for meditation and unobtrusively inspires the depths of the soul. And if you listen closely, you will discover many fine and playful layers in this gently waving robe, which, however, always blend in discreetly in the background.

The starting point in the development and "core" of this album is the track Re Man 11,000 Japas: a fast-paced version of the Re Man Shabad that is particularly good for repeating this mantra for a "Golden Aura" a total of 11,000 times! Only at MantraDownload there is an extra version without the short intro and outro , which you can play back again and again (loop) so that there is no break.

The first piece on the album, Re Man Trance, is the necessary counterpart to the fast version: calm, flowing, meditative, catchy and trance-like, you can use it to internalize this special mantra.

The mantra Hari Naam Sat Naam and the Pauri Panch Parvan from the JapJi Sahib... are embellished with new musical colors and instruments that have rarely been heard with Mardana - a real treat for ears and soul!

With the new version of the healing mantra Ra Ma Da Sa... the three musicians thought long and hard about whether another version of this popular mantra was really needed - and the answer was "yes". And that's a good thing, because the beautiful melody is easy to sing along with and you immediately get into this healing flow that carries you, protects you and gives you light.

With the last track Longtime Sunshine Bliss the album finds a worthy and crowning conclusion. This version of the popular piece, which traditionally ends all Kundalini Yoga sessions, newly composed by Gurbasant Singh, opens the heart, touches deeply and leads to a state of "bliss" with long Saaat Nam's at the end.
