The condition of an organ can be determined based on the condition of a muscle. Each organ can be assigned one or more test muscles that form a connecting unit. Meridians are also known from Chinese medicine; they run through the test muscles as subtle energy channels and address the respective organ via pressure point massage or acupuncture. These meridians are connected to emotional characteristics that influence our psyche.

With the help of Kundalini Yoga, this emotional-physical connection can be used to promote healing and inner growth. This basic text explains how this works and names the body systems that are connected to the 12 main meridians.
The vagus nerve is the central interface between the psyche and the body. This basic text contains a series of yoga exercises for the vagus nerve.
There is also a lecture by Yogi Bhajan, the master of Kundalini Yoga, in which he explains the connection between body systems and the elements (Tattwas).
