Sacred Kiss - Sat Kirin Kaur complete

Sat Kirin Kaur's new album Sacred Kiss is a unique collection of mantras and spiritual songs in English. The fullness of the straight, rhythmic pieces makes tapping your feet superfluous and encourages you to get up and dance along.

The origin of many of the tracks on Sacred Kiss can be traced back to the 1970s, a time when Yogi Bhajan shared these songs with the early Kundalini yogis and yoginis. Sat Kirin Kaur was one of them and learned these songs, sang them and now shares them with us on this wonderful CD. Including wonderfully poetic pieces like the Marriage Song, the Mean Man Song, a poem for Yogi Bhajan, and even a song for children. Some pieces are combined with mantras, while other pieces are sung in both English and the Gurmukhi mantric language.
Some of the tracks on this album, e.g. “All things come from God” or “Mean Man”) are used in Yoga Teacher Training Level 2 and have not been published before since the early 1970's - this album now brings them together in a consummate one soundtrack.
