This album fulfills many fans' requests over the years to bring Snatam Kaur's live experiences to CD. At every concert, something mystical happens, they say, that is reflected in each of these songs.
The album opens with Azure Salver, a prayer from the book Peace Lagoon (also available from us). This song was one of her favorite songs at the concerts, but has never been recorded elsewhere. This is the first recording of this live song. It is particularly accentuated by the clarity of Snatam Kaur's voice, the poetry of the words, and the polished instrumental accompaniment.

Most notably, this live version of Snatam's Ong Namo takes the studio version to ethereal new heights. During her stage performances, Snatam Kaur often goes into a deep meditative space and spontaneously weaves new poetic text passages into a song. Ong Namo is a wonderful example of this.
